Tickets now on sale for unique series of concerts that celebrate Americana, country, folk and American musical traditions, all for a good cause
A summer celebration of Americana, roots music and storytelling is returning to Historic Folsom as the Wildwood Performing Arts Foundation prepares to launch the 2026 edition of Folsom Americana Fest at the Zittel Family Amphitheater.
The nonprofit organization announced this week that tickets are now available for the festival’s 2026 summer lineup, which will feature a series of performances on select Saturdays throughout June, July and August in the heart of Historic Folsom.
The festival will showcase musicians and performers from across California and around the United States, featuring genres that include Americana, roots country, bluegrass, rockabilly and folk music. Organizers say the event is designed to celebrate American heritage through music, storytelling and live performance while creating a family-friendly outdoor entertainment experience for audiences of all ages.
Featured performances this summer include “American Legend,” a tribute to the life and music of Johnny Cash, “Sweethearts & Storytellers,” trailblazing music hosted by The Wildwood Roses, and “Honky Tonk Highways,” a celebration of California’s country music roots.
As the nation prepares to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary in 2026, organizers say the festival aims to honor the music, storytelling and cultural traditions that have shaped generations of American life. Through roots music and live performance, Folsom Americana Fest is intended to provide audiences with what organizers describe as a uniquely American experience centered on community, heritage and connection.

Audiences attending the summer series can expect an energetic outdoor concert atmosphere featuring live music, storytelling and performances inspired by the traditions of Americana, country, folk and roots music.
“As America approaches its 250th anniversary, Folsom Americana Fest is a meaningful way to celebrate the music, storytelling, and traditions that continue to shape our culture,” said Sunny Mitchell, founding director of the Wildwood Performing Arts Foundation. “There’s something incredibly special about bringing people together through live music in the heart of Historic Folsom.”
Proceeds from Folsom Americana Fest will support the Wildwood Performing Arts Foundation’s workshops, concerts and educational programming focused on connecting the community through music and the performing arts.
