Sacramento country trio and award-winning blues artist headline two nights of free Stage Bar entertainment
Red Hawk Resort Casino will bring country harmonies and blues-driven musicianship to its Stage Bar this weekend as the Ariel Jean Band performs Friday night, followed by Matt Rainey on Saturday.
On Friday night, the Ariel Jean Band brings its signature blend of three-part harmony, country-rock edge and heartfelt songwriting to the Red Hawk stage. The Sacramento-based trio — sisters Ariel Jean, Aubrey Anne and Amber Joy — has become a standout on the West Coast music scene thanks to powerful vocals, magnetic chemistry and a sound that fuses modern country with classic heartland roots.
Led by Ariel Jean’s powerhouse vocals and sharp songwriting, the group has shared the stage with major country artists including Tim McGraw, Little Big Town, Sam Hunt and Midland. Ariel Jean’s musical journey began with a guitar in hand during long Pacific Coast road trips, and since then she has performed everywhere from intimate local venues to legendary Nashville stages including Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge.
The band’s songs include “Honky Tonk Queen,” “Rocker Girl” and “On My Way to You,” which were recorded in Nashville with session musicians who have played for Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and other country chart-toppers. Viral favorites like “Coors Light Country Girl” and the emotional ballad “Here” continue to grow the band’s devoted following.

On Saturday night, Matt Rainey returns to the Red Hawk stage with a signature style that blends blues, rock, Americana and jam influences into a dynamic performance. Rainey is a two-time winner of the Sacramento Area Music Awards for Blues Band of the Year and was a quarterfinalist in the 2018 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee.
Rainey and his band have shared the stage with jam band greats including Melvin Seals of the Jerry Garcia Band, John Kadlecik of Furthur, Mark Karan of RatDog, Keller Williams and Moe. Whether performing with his full band or as a solo artist, Rainey delivers a stellar show that resonates with blues lovers and jam band fans alike.
Saturday’s performance brings a different energy to the Stage Bar, with Rainey’s expressive guitar work, soulful vocals and free-flowing style offering a mix of blues tradition and improvisational edge.
All Stage Bar performances at Red Hawk Resort Casino are free with no cover charge, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
