Officers were dispatched just before 2:00 a.m. on April 4 to the 700 block of Gold Lake Drive following reports of a male subject who had threatened employees, stating he would shoot and kill them, and was reportedly armed.

Upon arrival, officers located and detained the suspect near his vehicle. During the investigation, officers observed what appeared to be a handgun magazine protruding from beneath the driver’s seat. A records check showed the individual did not have any firearms registered in his name.
