Admission to the event is free and open to the public. A book purchase is required to participate in the signing portion of the evening.

Laura Dave is the No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of The Last Thing He Told Me, Eight Hundred Grapes and other novels that have reached readers around the globe. Her books have been published in 39 languages and selected by Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club, Indie Next, Book of the Month Club, The Richard and Judy Book Club, Best of Amazon and Best of Apple Books. Her newest novel, The First Time I Saw Him, continues the story that captivated millions of readers. The book revisits Hannah Hall and her stepdaughter, Bailey, five years after the disappearance of Hannah’s husband, Owen. Now building a new life in Southern California and reconnecting with Bailey’s grandfather, the pair believe they have moved past the turmoil that once upended their lives. But when Owen suddenly reappears at Hannah’s new exhibition, it becomes clear that danger has returned.
Forced into a relentless race to stay ahead of the past, Hannah risks everything to protect Bailey while confronting the possibility of reconciliation and long-awaited second chances. The novel picks up where the epilogue of The Last Thing He Told Me left off, delivering what many readers have eagerly anticipated — a continuation filled with suspense, emotional depth and themes of forgiveness.
