Community dance event brings music, movement and purpose to Historic Folsom on May 1
A new community-driven effort is stepping onto the dance floor in Historic Folsom, blending country music, movement and philanthropy into one lively evening designed to give back. Boots & Buckles Gives Back is partnering with Moves Like Justtice to host a country-themed fundraiser benefiting Folsom’s Hope Foundation, inviting residents to gather for an outdoor night of dancing, music and community connection.
The event is scheduled for Friday, May 1, in the heart of Historic Folsom along Market Row near Uncle Charley’s Firehouse & Brew, where the sounds of country music and the energy of social dancing are expected to fill the evening air. Organizers say the event marks an important milestone following the recent launch of the nonprofit arm of Boots & Buckles, which aims to use country dancing and music as a vehicle to support meaningful local causes.
Set to begin in the evening, the fundraiser will feature a mix of country swing and line dancing, complete with instruction for beginners and opportunities for seasoned dancers to take the floor. The event is designed to be welcoming for all skill levels, offering a relaxed environment where attendees can learn, participate and enjoy the experience together.
