Annual Charity Festival Returns Aug. 29 with Unlimited Tastings, More Than 40 Beverage Partners, Food Vendors and a Chance to Win a VIP Country Music Festival Experience

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — Beer lovers, cider fans and festival-goers looking for a late-summer getaway now have another reason to head for the mountains.

Tickets are officially on sale for the 2026 Tahoe Brewfest, which returns to South Lake Tahoe on Saturday, Aug. 29, bringing together one of the largest collections of craft breweries, cider makers, distilleries and beverage producers ever assembled for the annual event.

Now entering its ninth year, Tahoe Brewfest has grown into one of the region’s signature summer festivals, drawing visitors from across California, Nevada and beyond for a day filled with unlimited tastings, food, live entertainment and mountain-town atmosphere. The event takes place along Ski Run Boulevard in the heart of South Lake Tahoe and serves as a fundraiser benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe.

Recognized as Tahoe’s Best Charity Event in 2025 by the Tahoe Daily Tribune, organizers say this year’s festival will feature its biggest and most diverse lineup yet.

Every admission ticket includes a souvenir tasting cup and unlimited beverage samples throughout the event. VIP guests will gain early access beginning at 11 a.m., while general admission attendees can enter beginning at 1 p.m.

The 2026 lineup features an impressive mix of hometown favorites from the Tahoe Basin alongside well-known breweries from throughout California, Nevada and the Pacific Northwest.

Representing the Tahoe and Truckee region will be Cold Water Brewery, Sidellis Lake Tahoe, South of North Brewing Co., South Lake Brewing Co., Tahoe Brew House, Lake Tahoe AleWorx, Alibi Ale Works, Tahoe National Brewing Co., FiftyFifty Brewing Co. and Brew Brothers.

Northern Nevada breweries joining the festival include Schussboom Brewing Co., Pigeon Head Brewery, Great Basin Brewing Co. and The Fox Brewery.

California’s craft beer scene will be heavily represented as well with Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Anderson Valley Brewing Company, Dust Bowl Brewing Co., Jackrabbit Brewing Co., New Glory Craft Brewery, Backstage Brewing Co., Touchstone Brewing Co., Del Cielo Brewing Co., Crooked Lane Brewing Co., Feather Falls Brewing Co., Crooked Goat Brewing, Keg Stand Brewing Co., Parliament Brewing Co., Lost Coast Brewery, Asahi Beer and SLO Brew all scheduled to pour.

For attendees looking beyond beer, Tahoe Brewfest will once again feature a broad selection of alternative beverages. Cider, kombucha, mead and wine enthusiasts will find offerings from 2 Towns Ciderhouse, Golden State Cider, Chapter 11 Cellars, Boochcraft and Freedom Juice.

The festival’s spirits and ready-to-drink lineup will include Tahoe Blue Vodka, Rod & Hammer, 503 Distilling and Bold Move Beverages.

Food is also expected to be a major part of the experience, with vendors spread throughout the festival grounds offering everything from barbecue and pizza to desserts and specialty snacks.

Among the participating food and artisan vendors are Betty’s Balls Tapas, Pop Crunch & Munch, Bluestone Pizza, MacDuff’s Public House, Juice It Up, The Baked Bear, Divine Bake House, Tahoe Pops, Valley Eats BBQ, Sombreros, The Salty Twist, Paddle House Brews and J&K Jerky.

Festival organizers have also assembled a large marketplace featuring local makers and artisans including Live Taloha, Fault Line 395, Zen Zalea Botanicals, Vivid Mae, A Traveler’s Sage, MK Designs, Sessions Salon, Wild Sierra Handmade, Stranded In Cali, Golden Circle, Timms Made, Bella Drops, Astro & Sol, GoBoHo and Mandala Moon Candle Co.

Adding to the excitement this year is a special giveaway tied to another popular Northern Nevada summer event.

Anyone purchasing a Tahoe Brewfest ticket will automatically be entered for a chance to win two VIP passes to the 2026 Night in the Country music festival, scheduled for July 23-25. The prize package includes VIP entrance access, shaded seating in the VIP Tent, complimentary food and beverages and premium viewing areas near the main stage.

No purchase is necessary to enter the contest, and festival organizers note that entries can also be submitted online through the Tahoe Brewfest website.

Since launching in 2017, Tahoe Brewfest has become a destination event attracting more than 2,000 attendees annually. In addition to beverage tastings, visitors can expect live DJs, games, interactive experiences and plenty of opportunities to enjoy South Lake Tahoe’s restaurants, beaches, trails and nightlife throughout the weekend.

For many visitors, the event has become more than just a beer festival. It serves as an end-of-summer celebration that combines craft beverages, mountain scenery and community spirit while supporting a local nonprofit organization that serves area youth.
