Northern California tribute band celebrates the smooth sounds of Hall & Oates, Toto, Steely Dan and more in Orangevale
As summer officially heats up, The Boardwalk is inviting music fans to come cool off and enjoy smooth grooves Saturday night when Yacht Rockers bring their Summer Solstice Party to Orangevale for an evening dedicated to the iconic soft-rock sound of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
The June 13 performance will transform the longtime live music venue into a celebration of the yacht rock era, a genre that continues to enjoy renewed popularity thanks to its polished musicianship, memorable melodies and unmistakable feel-good atmosphere.
Billed as Northern California’s premier yacht rock experience, Yacht Rockers recreates the music that dominated airwaves, marinas and summer playlists during one of popular music’s most distinctive eras. Audiences can expect faithful performances of classics made famous by artists including Michael McDonald, Hall & Oates, Toto and Steely Dan, along with many of the other performers who helped define the genre’s sophisticated sound.
