The multi-platinum recording artist is set to perform live at the Harris Center for the Arts on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the highly anticipated concert went on sale to the general public Friday morning, following an earlier presale window for Harris Center members.

With more than 13 million albums sold and a career spanning over three decades, Lawrence has cemented his place as one of country music’s defining voices. Known for his traditional sound and rich baritone delivery, the CMA and ACM award winner has released 14 studio albums and produced a long list of chart-topping hits that helped shape the genre throughout the 1990s and beyond.

Born in Atlanta, Texas, and raised in Foreman, Arkansas, Lawrence began performing at just 15 years old before moving to Nashville in 1990 to pursue a full-time music career. He quickly broke through after signing with Atlantic Records and releasing his debut album “Sticks and Stones” in 1991, launching a career filled with radio staples and fan-favorite anthems.

Among his most recognized songs are “Alibis,” “Can’t Break It to My Heart,” “My Second Home,” “If the Good Die Young,” “Texas Tornado,” and “Find Out Who Your Friends Are,” along with signature hits like “Sticks and Stones” and “Time Marches On.” His 1993 album “Alibis” and 1996 release “Time Marches On” both achieved double-platinum status, underscoring his widespread appeal during country music’s peak commercial era.

Lawrence’s early career also included a life-threatening incident that would become part of his story. Just prior to the release of his debut album, he was shot multiple times while resisting a robbery in Nashville as he attempted to protect a friend. He survived and went on to build a career marked by resilience, consistency and a deep connection with fans.

More recently, Lawrence has continued to evolve while honoring his roots. In 2021, he released the three-volume “Hindsight 2020” project celebrating 30 years in country music, and he has since followed with new material including his “Out Here In It” EP. His touring schedule has remained active, sharing stages with artists such as Riley Green, Luke Bryan and Lainey Wilson, while also achieving a personal milestone with sold-out headlining performances at the historic Ryman Auditorium.

Beyond music, Lawrence has expanded into media and philanthropy. His podcast, “TL’s Road House,” features conversations with artists including HARDY and Jelly Roll, offering insight into the evolving country music landscape. He also remains deeply committed to charitable efforts through his Mission:Possible initiative and foundation work, which supports individuals experiencing homelessness. The effort has raised more than $1.3 million and provided thousands of meals in Middle Tennessee, earning Lawrence the 2023 CRS Humanitarian Award.

The Harris Center show is part of its ongoing concert series, which continues to draw nationally recognized acts to Folsom. Members of the venue receive early access to tickets and exclusive perks, including presale opportunities ahead of general public availability.
