Dustin Saylor Band brings modern country Friday before Sabrina Status Band rocks the Stage Bar Saturday

October gets underway with two nights and two distinctly different sounds at Red Hawk Resort + Casino this weekend, as modern country and Americana open the weekend before Saturday night turns up the guitars with a late-night rock show.

Dustin Saylor Band takes over the Stage Bar Friday, Oct. 2, from 8 p.m. to midnight, bringing a Northern California country sound built around original songwriting, familiar favorites and influences that reach into Americana and rock.

Saturday, Oct. 3, Sabrina Status Band follows from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., shifting the weekend into rock as the band takes over the Stage Bar for four hours of late-night live music.

Both performances are part of Red Hawk’s regular Friday and Saturday Stage Bar entertainment lineup.

Friday night belongs to Northern California singer-songwriter Dustin Saylor and his band, bringing a sound rooted in modern country while reaching into Americana, folk and rock.

Saylor has built his music around storytelling, using songs about life, relationships, resilience and personal experiences to create a country sound that puts as much emphasis on the lyrics as the hooks.

His influences and sound have been compared with contemporary country artists including Thomas Rhett, Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton, while his live performances can move between original material, country favorites and classic rock anthems.

Music became part of Saylor’s life early. He began at the piano as a child before picking up the guitar during his school years, eventually turning songwriting and performing into a career that has taken him to stages throughout Northern California and beyond.

That journey has included appearances at Country Summer Music Festival, where Saylor returned to the lineup again in 2026 alongside a roster that included Keith Urban, Cole Swindell, Koe Wetzel, Nate Smith and other national country acts.

Saylor has also shared stages with or opened for performers including Drake White, Tyler Rich and Creed Fisher. His single “Catch Me If You Can” was featured by Sonoma County country station Froggy 92.9 in 2024, while his full-band performances with The Stowaways have drawn thousands at community concerts and festivals.

While his original material provides the heart of the show, Saylor’s live performances are designed to be anything but quiet singer-songwriter affairs. With the full band behind him, the music takes on a bigger country-rock sound built for festival stages, dancing and an energetic Friday night crowd.

That combination should fit naturally into the Stage Bar setting as Saylor opens Red Hawk’s first weekend of October.

Dustin Saylor Band takes the stage Friday at 8 p.m. and performs until midnight.

Saturday night changes gears when Sabrina Status Band takes over the Stage Bar for Red Hawk’s late-night slot.

Sabrina Status Band takes the stage at 10 p.m., when the Stage Bar traditionally shifts into its later Saturday night atmosphere. The performance continues until 2 a.m., offering four hours of live rock to carry the resort into early Sunday morning.

The weekend pairing gives Red Hawk audiences a choice between two different live music experiences without changing venues — modern country, Americana and storytelling Friday followed by a Saturday night built around rock.

The Stage Bar performances are only part of what visitors can find at Red Hawk Resort + Casino, where gaming, dining, overnight accommodations and The Apex offer plenty of ways to turn a night of music into a longer weekend outing.

The Apex is Red Hawk’s all-ages indoor entertainment complex and adds an entirely different dimension to the resort. Visitors can take on indoor electric go-kart racing, hit the lanes for interactive bowling, try the golf simulators or spend some time with arcade and virtual reality experiences.

Apex Sports Bar provides another weekend option for those looking to catch the latest games, while Apex Grill offers food before or after the entertainment. Families can also find Cyber Quest, Red Hawk’s supervised family-friendly arcade featuring nonviolent games, along with Kids Quest and its supervised child care and activities for younger guests.

For adults, Red Hawk offers its expansive casino floor with slots and table games, along with multiple restaurants, bars and lounges throughout the property. The resort’s hotel provides another option for visitors who want to turn their night out into an overnight stay.

October also brings a new round of promotions for Red Hawk Rewards Club members.
