Opening asCinderellaconcludes its run, the Tony Award-winning Broadway classic brings audiences from fairy tale castles to the farcical streets of ancient Rome. Known for its rapid-fire comedy, mistaken identities, elaborate schemes and memorable musical numbers,Forumhas entertained theatergoers for more than six decades and remains one of Sondheim’s most enduring and celebrated works.
Directed by Allen Schmeltz, the production features the iconic opening number “Comedy Tonight” and follows the adventures of Pseudolus, a clever slave who devises a series of increasingly outrageous plans in pursuit of freedom.
