The Friends of the Folsom Powerhouse are inviting the community to join them to spend an evening celebrating the unique history and connection of the Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park with good eats, drinks and much more.
It’s known as the Powerfest Taps and Tunes and discount advance tickets are now on sale for the June 10 event.
This will mark the 7th Annual Powerfest Taps and Tunes event, benefitting the Friends of the Folsom Powerhouse. The event takes place from 4 to 8 pm at Powerhouse State Park, 9980 Greenback Lane in Folsom.
Tickets are now available online for $35 which include the opportunity to enjoy unlimited tasting of more than 20 different craft beers from around the region as well as various wines for those that are not a beer lover. Attendees can enjoy dancing to live music by Jim Berry’s Hi Lo Country Western Band, win various door prizes and more fun all while accessing the historic site.
The event will feature foods from several top food trucks from the region. Breweries that have confirmed to the event already include Alaro Brewing, New Glory, Sacramento Brewery, Strad Meadery and many more.
Those looking to attend can save by buying tickets online in advance at aaa.folsompowerhouse.org. Advance tickets are $35. Tickets at the gate the day of the event will be $40. Designated driver tickets for those that don’t want to taste can be purchased online for $10.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Friends of the Folsom Powerhouse organization.
The Friends of the Folsom Powerhouse non-profit corporation made up of volunteers dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the Folsom Powerhouse and the role it played in the early history of California.
