Country storytelling, blues-driven jams and classic rock power fuel two nights of live entertainment
Red Hawk Resort Casino is set to kick off the weekend with another round of free live entertainment as a mix of modern country, blues-infused jams and classic rock favorites take over the Stage Bar and The Apex.
Friday night at the Stage Bar features Dustin Saylor, who brings a modern country sound rooted in authenticity and storytelling. Performing from 8 p.m. until midnight, Saylor delivers a style shaped by Americana, folk and country traditions, blending heartfelt melodies with introspective lyrics that reflect life’s trials, triumphs and personal moments.
Saylor has built a reputation for connecting with audiences through sincerity and emotional depth, creating performances that feel personal while still carrying the energy of a full live show. His musical journey has included sharing the stage with artists such as Drake White, Tyler Rich and Creed Fisher, as well as gaining regional attention when his song “Catch Me If You Can” was featured on Froggy 92.9 in 2024.
Alongside his band, The Stowaways, Saylor has performed for large audiences across Northern California, including headlining shows at Windsor Town Green in both 2024 and 2025, where crowds exceeded 4,000 attendees. He has also appeared at the Country Summer Music Festival in 2019 and again in 2023, further establishing his presence in the region’s country music scene.
His performance at Red Hawk brings a fresh and rising voice to the Stage Bar, offering a mix of original songs and crowd-friendly country sounds designed to engage both dedicated fans of the genre and those discovering his music for the first time.

Live music begins earlier Friday evening at The Apex at Red Hawk Resort Casino, where the venue’s acoustic “Unplugged” entertainment series continues with a performance by Matt Rainey from 7 to 10 p.m.
Rainey is a two-time winner of the Sacramento Area Music Awards for Blues Band of the Year and was a quarterfinalist in the 2018 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. Known for blending traditional blues with a psychedelic jam band style, Rainey fuses soulful blues, rock, Americana and improvisational elements into his performances.
Throughout his career, Rainey has opened for a range of notable jam band artists, including Melvin Seals of the Jerry Garcia Band, John Kadlecik of Furthur, Mark Karan of RatDog, Keller Williams and the band moe. Whether performing with a full band or in a solo acoustic setting, he is known for delivering an engaging show driven by expressive guitar work and a free-flowing improvisational style.
Saturday night shifts the tone at the Stage Bar as Sons of Rock & Roll takes over with a high-energy performance built on the foundation of classic rock’s most celebrated decades. The Reno-based band performs from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m., delivering a set that draws heavily from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

Known for their strong stage presence and crowd interaction, Sons of Rock & Roll mixes faithful renditions of iconic tracks with a lively performance style that keeps audiences engaged throughout the night. Their shows are designed to get guests on their feet, whether dancing, singing along or reliving the music that defined generations of rock fans.
The band’s ability to capture the spirit of rock’s golden era has earned them a loyal following across the region, and their return to Red Hawk promises a night filled with nostalgia and high-energy entertainment.
All Stage Bar performances at Red Hawk Resort Casino are free with no cover charge, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
