ELK GROVE — One of country music’s biggest names is trading arenas for open fields right here in the region, and in less than a month, Luke Bryan will bring his signature Farm Tour to Elk Grove for a one-night stop that promises to be as unique as it is affordable.
Set for May 16 at Mahon Ranch just off Grant Line Road, the concert is expected to be one of the largest live music events ever hosted in Elk Grove, drawing thousands of fans for a high-energy night set against the backdrop of working farmland. The stop is part of Bryan’s 17th annual Farm Tour, a concept that has become one of the most distinctive live music experiences in the country.
The Elk Grove date will serve as the final stop on a rare three-show California run taking place May 14–16, with additional performances scheduled in Shafter and Clovis before arriving in the Sacramento region. The limited West Coast swing marks Bryan’s return to California for a second consecutive year of spring Farm Tour dates following strong fan response in 2025.
Since the initial announcement, organizers have also revealed the lineup of special guests joining Bryan on the California run, including Priscilla Block, The Peach Pickers and DJ Rock, adding even more energy and variety to the already highly anticipated show.
“We had such a great response to the shows out West last year that we decided to come back,” said Bryan. “It was so impactful to learn from the farmers about what affects their operations and families, and our hope is to shine a little spotlight on them for all they do for America.”

That mission has been at the heart of the Farm Tour since its launch in 2009. Raised as the son of a peanut farmer, Bryan created the series to celebrate rural communities while bringing major entertainment directly to the people who help power America’s agricultural backbone. Over the years, the tour has not only grown in popularity but has also made a tangible impact, awarding 90 college scholarships to students from farming families attending local colleges and universities near tour stops.
Beyond the Farm Tour itself, Bryan’s career has cemented him as one of country music’s most dominant forces of the modern era. Since debuting in 2007, he has sold more than 75 million records and produced more than 25 No. 1 hits, including “Country Girl (Shake It for Me),” “Play It Again,” “Crash My Party,” “Rain Is a Good Thing,” and “Drink a Beer.” His albums, including Tailgates & Tanlines, Kill the Lights and Born Here Live Here Die Here, have helped define the sound of contemporary country music, while his multiple ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year honors and role as a longtime judge on American Idol have expanded his reach far beyond the stage.
Unlike traditional arena or stadium shows, the Farm Tour strips away many of the usual concert elements in favor of a more grounded, immersive experience. Concertgoers can expect a wide-open venue, a strong connection to the surrounding agricultural landscape and a setting that puts fans closer to the music in a way few large-scale tours can replicate.
That setting will be especially meaningful at Mahon Ranch, an authentic working cattle ranch in the Cosumnes River Valley with roots dating back to 1882. Established by John Mahon, the ranch has evolved through generations of agricultural use, from early hops production to grain, citrus, vineyards, beets and dairy operations. Today, the ranch continues its legacy by raising more than 200 head of cattle in its cow-calf herd while also producing hay feed for farms throughout the region, offering a true representation of the agricultural lifestyle the Farm Tour was designed to celebrate.
The Elk Grove stop is also expected to deliver a notable economic boost to the area, with visitors traveling in from across Northern California and beyond. Local restaurants, hotels and small businesses are preparing for increased traffic as the city embraces the high-profile event and the attention it brings.
The tour is sponsored by Bayer and Fendt, continuing longstanding partnerships that support both the event and its agricultural ties.
Tickets for the Elk Grove show are currently on sale, with general admission priced at $77 plus applicable taxes and fees. The event is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance due to expected demand. Tickets and additional event information can be found at Luke Bryan’s official website athttps://www.lukebryan.com/farm-tour-2026.
With its mix of superstar talent, rural authenticity and meaningful community impact, Bryan’s return to California—and his upcoming stop in Elk Grove—offers a rare opportunity for fans to experience country music at its roots, right here in the region.
