District seeking educators for classrooms across FCUSD during two-day interview event in Rancho Cordova
RANCHO CORDOVA — The Folsom Cordova Unified School District will soon open its doors to educators seeking teaching opportunities across the district when it hosts a two-day Teacher Hiring Fair later this month aimed at filling elementary and special education classroom positions.
The hiring event is designed to connect qualified teachers with school administrators and district leaders while offering candidates a closer look at the resources and support systems available to educators working within the district.
The fair will focus specifically on Elementary General Education and Special Education teaching positions serving students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Candidates selected through the application process will be invited to participate in on-site interviews with school administrators and hiring teams representing campuses across the district.
District officials say the event also offers prospective educators the chance to learn more about the district’s programs and workplace culture. In addition to interviews, participants will have access to information stations staffed by representatives from the district’s Human Resources department, where candidates can learn about employment benefits, district programs and available support systems.
Attendees will also be able to connect with representatives from the Folsom Cordova Education Association, explore the district’s New Teacher Support and Development programs and take part in a question-and-answer station where they can ask about classroom expectations, district initiatives and professional growth opportunities.
The hiring fair will take place at the Folsom Cordova Unified School District Office, located at 1965 Birkmont Drive in Rancho Cordova. The event will be held Thursday, March 26 from 2 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and again on Friday, March 27 from 3:15 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Officials emphasize that the hiring fair is not open to walk-in applicants. Interested candidates must complete an application in advance through the EdJoin education job portal in order to be considered for an interview.
Teacher Hiring Fair postings will be listed on EdJoin from March 9 through March 22, 2026, and will include the words “Teacher Hiring Fair” in the job title. After reviewing submitted applications, the district will notify selected candidates by the end of the day on March 23 if they have been invited to participate in interviews during one of the hiring fair sessions.
Those selected will then attend the event for their scheduled interview time and have the opportunity to learn more about teaching opportunities within the district’s schools.
