The ceremony recognized not only the individual achievements of the firefighters and command staff members, but also the support of their families throughout the demands of public safety service.

The promotions come during a period of operational transition for the department as Folsom Fire Department continues preparing for the region’s peak fire season while also adapting to deployment and staffing adjustments tied to ongoing city budget discussions.
