The Folsom Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. (NCL), the nation’s premier mother-daughter volunteer organization, recently hosted its annual Mother-Daughter Tea and Senior Recognition at Granite Bay Golf Club. More than 200 members attended, bringing together mothers and daughters from across the chapter.
A cherished tradition since 1947, the annual tea reflects NCL’s commitment to fostering strong mother-daughter relationships while celebrating its core values of service, leadership, and etiquette. The event brings the chapter community together to honor achievements and milestones, while the organization as a whole provides members with opportunities to develop skills in planning, budgeting, teamwork, and social etiquette.
During the Senior Recognition ceremony, the Class of 2026 was honored for completing NCL’s six-year core program, spanning grades 7 through 12, and recognized for their outstanding service contributions. Kira Franks received top honors for completing the highest number of philanthropy hours, contributing more than 402 hours of volunteer service to the community.
In addition, Sydney Wilson (Junior) and Amanda Tenley (Sophomore) were awarded the Folsom Chapter Modelette Award. This distinction recognizes Ticktockers (daughters) who exemplify the NCL mission through a strong commitment to community service, leadership development, and cultural engagement.
