After responding to a pair of original calls for domestic violence and robbery in the city last week, Folsom Police Officers arrested a 19-year old Sacramento man on multiple charges, including robbery, child endangerment and corporal injury.

According to the Folsom Police Department, at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 7, Folsom Police Dispatchers received a call regarding a domestic disturbance that recently occurred on the 1100 block of Blue Ravine Rd. The victim, who is pregnant, stated that her boyfriend had attempted to strangle and beat her and had fled prior to the arrival of the police.

Later that morning, at approximately 5:45 a.m., Folsom Police Dispatchers received a call from a homeowner on the 100 Block of Keller Cir stating that she had woken up to discover her home had been burglarized and her Honda CR-V was stolen.

The suspect was seen in the area of the home invasion on city cameras. The suspect in the video was confirmed to be the same suspect as the original domestic call.

That same day, Folsom Police Department was notified by the Sacramento Police Department at approximately 7:56 a.m. that the stolen Honda CR-V was located near a known address of the suspect from the domestic violence call earlier that day. The suspect lived at this residence with his mother, who was on parole.

Due to the suspect’s mother’s parole status, on Tuesday, April 9, the Folsom Police Department conducted a search of the residence on the 5900 block of 24th Ave in Sacramento and located the suspect, Shaun Williams, 19, of Sacramento. Williams was arrested for multiple charges, including robbery, child endangerment and domestic violence/corporal injury.
