Two members of the Folsom Police Department have completed a regional leadership development program aimed at strengthening leadership, communication and decision-making skills among public safety professionals.
Officer Eathan Vavak and Volunteer Coordinator Jessica Hess recently graduated from the Sacramento Police Department’s Frontline Leadership Program, an intensive professional development course designed to enhance leadership abilities, critical thinking, organizational effectiveness and team-building skills.
The program brings together public safety professionals from agencies throughout the region and includes discussions, practical exercises and training focused on leadership principles, decision-making, team dynamics and personal growth.
According to the Folsom Police Department, Vavek and Hess were selected from a group of interested employees to participate in the program as part of the department’s ongoing commitment to developing future leaders within the organization.
“We are proud of their dedication to professional growth and grateful for the knowledge and experience they bring back to our organization,” the department said in announcing the accomplishment. “Congratulations, Ethan and Jessica, on this outstanding achievement.”
The completion of the Frontline Leadership Program reflects the department’s investment in employee development and leadership training, providing participants with skills intended to strengthen both their professional effectiveness and service to the community.
