A traffic stop in Folsom resulted in the arrest of a Citrus Heights woman on multiple felony narcotics charges after officers discovered a significant quantity of suspected drugs and evidence of sales activity inside her vehicle, according to the Folsom Police Department.
Just before 1:00 a.m. on April 16, officers conducted a traffic stop near Greenback Lane and Main Avenue for vehicle code violations, according to a report from the Folsom Police Department. The driver, identified as Samantha Kleser, 38, of Citrus Heights, was confirmed to be on searchable probation.
During a subsequent probation search of the vehicle, officers located approximately six ounces of suspected methamphetamine packaged for sale, along with various pills and capsules not prescribed to Kleser. Officers also found a large amount of cash, a digital scale, a ledger, and additional paraphernalia commonly associated with the possession and sale of illegal narcotics.
Kleser was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on multiple felony charges, including transportation of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance for sale, and possession of a controlled substance with prior convictions.
