Country music takes over the Stage Bar at Red Hawk Resort + Casino this weekend, but the two-night lineup will offer two distinctly different takes on the genre as Four Barrel and All Hat No Cattle step into the spotlight.
Four Barrel opens the weekend Friday, Sept. 11, performing from 8 p.m. to midnight with a high-energy catalog that stretches from country and classic rock to dance-floor favorites spanning more than six decades. Saturday, Sept. 12, All Hat No Cattle takes over from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., bringing a country show that reaches from the genre’s legends and ’90s favorites to some of today’s biggest names.
Both performances are part of Red Hawk’s regular weekend live entertainment lineup at the Stage Bar.
Friday night belongs to Four Barrel, the Woodland-based band that has become a familiar name throughout the Greater Sacramento live music scene with performances built around familiar songs, seasoned musicianship and plenty of dance-floor energy.
While Red Hawk lists Friday’s performance as country, Four Barrel has never been a band easily confined to one musical lane. The group’s repertoire reaches across rock, blues, country and dance favorites from the 1960s through today, giving its shows the ability to move from one generation of music to another throughout the night.
That versatility has helped Four Barrel build a strong regional following over more than a decade of live performances. The band has become a regular at casinos, fairs, festivals, clubs and entertainment venues throughout Northern California, including numerous appearances in the Folsom and Sacramento areas.
Four Barrel arrives at Red Hawk after another busy week. The group performed Thursday at the Gold Country Fair in Auburn before heading to the Stage Bar for Friday night’s four-hour show.

Leading the group is founding member Phillip Lovejoy on lead guitar and vocals. Lovejoy’s musical journey began in fifth grade with the trumpet before he discovered guitar at age 15. Influenced by guitar greats including Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, he developed a blues-influenced rock style that continues to give Four Barrel much of its guitar-driven edge.
Teri Alison provides the band’s powerhouse lead vocals and commanding stage presence. Her connection with live music began early when, at 8 years old, she stepped onstage with a local band to sing “Rhinestone Cowboy.” Inspired by performers including Pat Benatar, Alison later fronted several regional groups before becoming part of Four Barrel.
Bassist Dale Warner adds decades of experience in rock, blues and jazz. The Woodland native spent time in Santa Cruz and Los Angeles, toured nationally and released his solo record “Uncle Dale, Tell’n Stories” before eventually returning to Northern California. A chance encounter with Lovejoy after his return to Woodland ultimately led to Warner joining Four Barrel.
Ken Hockensmith rounds out the lineup behind the drum kit, providing the driving rhythms underneath a catalog built for a night of dancing and sing-alongs.
Together, the quartet has developed a live show that can shift from guitar-heavy rock into country and familiar radio favorites without losing its momentum. The common thread is recognizable music and a performance style centered on keeping audiences involved.
Friday’s Red Hawk appearance begins at 8 p.m. and continues until midnight.
Saturday night brings the country when Sacramento-based All Hat No Cattle takes over the Stage Bar from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m.
The band blends original music with a wide-ranging collection of country covers, drawing from multiple generations of the genre rather than focusing on a single era.
That means audiences can hear music influenced by country legends such as Johnny Cash and George Strait alongside the sounds that helped define the country boom of the 1990s, including Shania Twain. The band’s repertoire also reaches into the current generation with music associated with artists such as Lainey Wilson and Zach Bryan.
It is a musical timeline that allows All Hat No Cattle to connect traditional country roots with the artists shaping country radio and Americana today.

The Sacramento-based group describes its sound as being loaded with “Hillbilly vibes” and rooted in country music, with covers stretching from the 1980s through today mixed alongside its own original material.
The result is a show designed to offer something familiar to longtime country fans while still reaching listeners whose playlists lean toward the genre’s newest stars.
All Hat No Cattle has performed at festivals and community events around the Sacramento and El Dorado County region, including previous appearances on the Red Hawk stage at the El Dorado County Fair. The band is also scheduled to perform at the Fair Oaks Chicken Festival later this month.
Its lively stage presence and broad song selection have helped make All Hat No Cattle a natural fit for events where the goal is less about sitting quietly and more about singing along, dancing and spending the night with familiar country music.
Saturday’s Stage Bar performance begins at 10 p.m. and continues until 2 a.m., giving Red Hawk a late-night country party to close out the weekend’s live music lineup.
Together, Four Barrel and All Hat No Cattle give country fans two different reasons to make the trip. Friday brings Four Barrel’s guitar-driven mixture of rock, country and dance favorites, while Saturday leans deeper into country across the decades with All Hat No Cattle.
The Stage Bar performances are only part of what visitors can find at Red Hawk Resort + Casino, where gaming, dining, overnight accommodations and The Apex provide plenty of ways to turn a night of live music into a full weekend outing.
