The timeless music of The Beatles will take center stage Friday night as Ticket to Ride Live brings its acclaimed tribute show to The Boardwalk in Orangevale for another installment of the venue’s popular Free Friday concert series.
Beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, July 24, the Sacramento-area band will take audiences on a musical journey through one of the most influential catalogs in popular music, celebrating the songs that helped define a generation while continuing to inspire listeners more than six decades later.
Rather than simply performing Beatles hits, Ticket to Ride Live has built its reputation by recreating the sound, spirit and evolution of the legendary British quartet. The band’s performances follow a chronological path through The Beatles’ remarkable career, beginning with the infectious energy of early hits like “Please Please Me” before progressing through the groundbreaking studio years and timeless masterpieces from albums such as Abbey Road.
That attention to detail extends well beyond the setlist.
Ticket to Ride Live performs using authentic instruments and equipment associated with The Beatles, including Gibson, Rickenbacker, Hofner and Vox gear, carefully recreating the signature tones that helped shape modern popular music. As part of The Boardwalk’s Free Friday series, there is no cover charge for admission. For this event the venue welcomes all ages, with guests under 21 admitted when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
