Eighth annual celebration brings craft beer, wine, food and live entertainment to Town Center
EL DORADO HILLS — The taps will be flowing, glasses will be raised and El Dorado Hills Town Center will become one big outdoor tasting room this Saturday as one of the community’s signature celebrations returns for its eighth year.
The El Dorado Hills Brewfest takes over Town Center Saturday, Sept. 5, bringing an afternoon of craft beer, wine, food and live entertainment to the boulevard. Presented by Red Hawk Resort + Casino and organized by the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce, the popular event runs from 4 to 7 p.m., with VIP guests getting an early start at 3 p.m.
For three hours Saturday afternoon, Brewfest will turn the heart of Town Center into a walkable tasting experience where guests can make their way through an extensive selection of craft beers and wine samples while grabbing bites from local restaurants and food trucks and enjoying live entertainment along the way.
It is a formula that has helped Brewfest grow into one of the Chamber’s most anticipated annual events, drawing people together for an afternoon that is as much about the El Dorado Hills community as it is about what is being poured.
“Brewfest is an opportunity to showcase so much of what makes El Dorado Hills special,” said Debbie Manning, president and CEO of the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce. “It brings people together in the heart of Town Center while highlighting our local businesses, our beautiful community and the welcoming spirit that makes El Dorado Hills such a special place to live, work and play.”
This year, the chamber is offering an upgraded VIP experience for those who want to get the festivities started early.
VIP admission is $75 and includes entry beginning at 3 p.m., one hour before the general admission gates open. VIP guests will receive a larger 16-ounce tasting glass and access to a private indoor, air-conditioned area with restrooms.
The VIP experience also includes exclusive tastings from Sentivo Vineyards and Dios Azul, along with refreshments provided by Nugget Markets.
General admission is $55 with entry beginning at 4 p.m.
With Brewfest now just days away, those planning to attend may not want to wait until Saturday to secure their tickets. The Chamber expects the event to sell out, and organizers say any tickets that remain available at the door will be sold at a premium.
Advance tickets can be purchased online through the El Dorado Hills Brewfest website. Those who want to avoid online ticketing fees can purchase tickets in person at the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday.
Saturday’s celebration continues an event that has become an annual fixture at Town Center, combining the growing popularity of regional craft beverages with a gathering designed to spotlight the businesses and organizations that make up the El Dorado Hills community.
