Powerhouse Pub in Historic Folsom is kicking off four straight days of live music Thursday night with a performance by Gotcha Country, one of the region’s most beloved and versatile cover bands. With rainy weather in the forecast, it’s the perfect time to start your weekend early with some indoor entertainment and spirits.

Gotcha Country, part of the Gotcha Covered Music family, is rooted in the Central Valley and specializes in high-energy country hits spanning from the ’90s to today. Known for their ability to get the dance floor moving with line dancing and two-stepping, the band combines modern hits with nostalgic classics to keep audiences “Boot Scootin’” all night long.

The music begins at 9 p.m. Thursday, with free admission for all Country Thursday events. Seating is first-come, first-served, so plan to arrive early to secure a spot.

The live music lineup starts earlier Thursday with a special Chico Alumni Party featuring G Ride & The Funnels at 4 p.m. This public event offers an afternoon of lively music and camaraderie for alumni and friends.

Adam Aldama

On Friday, Dec. 13, Adam Aldama & The Aces take the stage at 10 p.m. Known for their themed performances, the group delivers a dynamic repertoire, including tributes to Prince, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, and 2000s hits through their Y2K Live series. Their versatility and energy are sure to keep the audience entertained.

Saturday, Dec. 14, kicks off with Echo Summit at 3 p.m. during the Saturday Afternoon Dance Party. This premium eclectic rock band will set the tone for an upbeat day. That evening at 10 p.m., the Night Fever Disco Party brings a retro vibe to the dance floor. The five-piece band will transport audiences back to the disco era with hits from the Bee Gees, Donna Summer, KC & The Sunshine Band, and more. Expect glittering energy, groovy beats, and plenty of nostalgia.

Lydia Pense

The weekend wraps up Sunday, Dec. 15, with Powerhouse of Blues featuring Lydia Pense & Cold Blood. The show begins at 3 p.m. and highlights the legendary funk/soul band from the Fillmore era. Known for their timeless “East Bay Grease” sound, Lydia Pense & Cold Blood continue to inspire fans with their music.
