Dance hits, country storytelling and harmony-driven country rock fuel two nights of live entertainment
Red Hawk Resort Casino is set to kick off the weekend with another round of free live entertainment as a mix of high-energy dance music and modern country takes over the Stage Bar and The Apex.
Friday night at the Stage Bar features Gotcha Covered, a powerhouse cover band known for transporting audiences through decades of unforgettable hits. Performing from 8 p.m. to midnight, the Central California-based four-member group delivers everything from disco grooves and classic rock anthems to 1980s synth-pop and modern dance favorites.
True to their name, Gotcha Covered spans generations with a setlist designed to keep the crowd moving all night long. Their ability to blend eras seamlessly into one continuous performance has made them a standout act across the region, consistently drawing packed dance floors wherever they perform.
What sets the band apart is its dynamic instrumentation and layered sound. Laura Rankin leads with soaring vocals and keyboards, while Jeff Rankin anchors the groove on bass and vocals. Guitarist Shawn Reynolds blends rhythm, lead and synth textures with strong harmonies, and drummer Ryan Blodgett keeps the energy driving from start to finish. With rich vocal harmonies and multiple keyboards and synthesizers, Gotcha Covered delivers arena-level energy in the intimate Stage Bar setting, turning the venue into a full-scale dance party that carries through the night.
Live music continues Friday evening at The Apex at Red Hawk Resort Casino, where Dustin Saylor brings a modern country sound rooted in authenticity and storytelling. Performing from 8 p.m. until midnight, Saylor delivers a style shaped by Americana, folk and country traditions, blending heartfelt melodies with introspective lyrics that reflect life’s trials, triumphs and personal moments.

Saylor has built a reputation for connecting with audiences through sincerity and emotional depth, creating performances that feel personal while still carrying the energy of a full live show. His musical journey has included sharing the stage with artists such as Drake White, Tyler Rich and Creed Fisher, as well as gaining regional attention when his song “Catch Me If You Can” was featured on Froggy 92.9 in 2024.
Alongside his band, The Stowaways, Saylor has performed for large audiences across Northern California, including headlining shows at Windsor Town Green in both 2024 and 2025, where crowds exceeded 4,000 attendees. He has also appeared at the Country Summer Music Festival in 2019 and again in 2023, further establishing his presence in the region’s country music scene. His performance at The Apex offers a strong country complement to the high-energy atmosphere inside the casino, giving guests a choice of musical experiences throughout the evening.
Saturday night shifts the spotlight back to the Stage Bar as the Ariel Jean Band takes over from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. The Sacramento-based trio has built a strong presence on the West Coast music scene with its signature blend of three-part harmony, country-rock edge and heartfelt songwriting.
Comprised of sisters Ariel Jean, Aubrey Anne and Amber Joy, the group delivers a polished, high-energy performance defined by powerful vocals and natural stage chemistry. Their sound blends modern country with classic heartland influences, creating a style that resonates with a wide range of audiences.

Led by Ariel Jean’s standout vocals and songwriting, the band has shared the stage with major country artists including Tim McGraw, Little Big Town, Sam Hunt and Midland. Ariel Jean’s musical journey began with a guitar in hand during long Pacific Coast road trips, eventually leading her from local venues to legendary Nashville stages such as Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge.
Their songs, including “Honky Tonk Queen,” “Rocker Girl” and “On My Way to You,” were recorded in Nashville with session musicians who have performed with Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and other country chart-toppers. Viral favorites such as “Coors Light Country Girl” and the emotional ballad “Here” continue to expand the group’s growing fan base, making their Red Hawk appearance one of the weekend’s highlights.
All Stage Bar performances at Red Hawk Resort Casino are free with no cover charge, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
