Beginning June 4 and continuing every Thursday evening through Aug. 27, the longtime community tradition will once again transform the Historic District into one of the region’s busiest summer destinations as thousands gather near the Zittel Family Amphitheater for weekly outdoor concerts under the stars.

Hosted by the Folsom Historic District Association, the concert series has become one of Folsom’s signature seasonal events over the years, drawing residents and visitors alike into the heart of the city for evenings filled with live entertainment, dining, shopping and nightlife throughout the district. Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and continue until 9:30 p.m.

As temperatures rise and summer activity ramps up across the region, the Thursday night series has long served as a centerpiece of Historic Folsom’s warm-weather atmosphere. Restaurants and patios along Sutter Street typically fill early on concert nights as crowds arrive ahead of performances to enjoy the district before the music begins.

The 2026 season opens June 4 with CCsegerR, a six-piece tribute act celebrating the music of Bob Seger and Creedence Clearwater Revival. The group delivers what organizers describe as “two amazing tribute bands in one,” combining the timeless rock catalogues of both legendary artists into a high-energy live performance designed to keep crowds dancing throughout the evening.

Known for recreating classic rock favorites spanning multiple generations, CCsegerR takes audiences through a setlist packed with recognizable hits tied to Seger’s arena-rock sound and the swamp-rock energy of CCR. From singalong anthems to dance-floor favorites, the opening-night performance is expected to draw one of the largest early-season crowds to the amphitheater as the summer series officially gets underway in Historic Folsom.

The following week, Sugar High Band takes the stage June 11 with its energetic mix of dance music and crowd favorites before Invisible Son – Police Tribute arrives June 18, bringing the iconic sound of Sting and The Police to Historic Folsom.

Wayward Buffalo rounds out the June schedule on June 25 with a performance blending Americana, folk, country and roots-driven rock influences that fit naturally into the amphitheater’s outdoor setting.

July keeps the momentum rolling with Steelin’ Dan on July 2, followed by the Lyric Michelle Band on July 9. Hipper than Hip takes over July 16 with its signature horn-driven mix of funk, soul and rhythm and blues that has made the band a popular draw throughout Northern California dance venues and festivals.

AKAlive Band follows July 23 before LVVS performs July 30, helping carry the series deeper into the summer season as Historic Folsom continues to see strong evening crowds throughout the district.

The August lineup features Dunsbar Road on Aug. 6, Wayside Band on Aug. 13 and Daze on the Green on Aug. 20 before the series wraps up Aug. 27 with Adam Aldama & The Aces, whose energetic finale performances have traditionally helped close the season with one of the amphitheater’s biggest crowds of the year.

Beyond the music itself, the Twilight Concert Series continues to serve as an economic and social driver for Historic Folsom each summer, bringing consistent weekly traffic into the district and helping support local restaurants, bars, retailers and entertainment venues during peak tourism months.

Held at the open-air Zittel Family Amphitheater near the heart of the Historic District, the concerts remain free and open to all ages. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and arrive early due to strong attendance throughout the season.
