A full weekend of live country and Americana music is set to take over Historic Folsom as the Folsom Hotel Saloon hosts two nights of performances, featuring nationally touring artist Logan Mize on Friday and rising roots standout Bella White on Saturday.
Mize’s return to California comes as part of his “Glenn’s Last Ride” acoustic tour, a format that has become a defining element of his career in recent years. Known for creating intimate, stripped-down performances, Mize brings fans closer to the songwriting and stories behind his nearly two-decade run in country music. His acoustic shows emphasize connection, delivering an up-close experience that highlights his vocals and storytelling without the layers of a full band production.
A lot has happened for the Kansas native since the release of his last full-length studio album Welcome to Prairieville. In 2022, Mize made his Grand Ole Opry debut and returned later that same year, marking a milestone moment for the independent artist. Since then, he has continued to release new material, including Prairie Tapes Vol. 1, recorded and produced entirely at his own studio in Andale, Kansas, as well as a collaborative project with his wife, singer-songwriter Jill Martin, under the name The Mizes.
His recent work has also included a Christmas album and collaborations with artists such as Jessie James Decker, Sam Grow, Adam Hambrick and Grace Leer, all while maintaining a steady touring schedule that has taken him across the United States, Canada and Europe. Over the course of his career, Mize has shared the stage with artists ranging from Eric Church to Jamey Johnson and Sawyer Brown, building a reputation as a consistent and authentic presence in country music.
That authenticity carries into his latest full-length release, Her Heartland, an album that blends traditional country with heartland rock influences while remaining grounded in the small-town perspective that has shaped both his life and his music. Anchored by a series of singles released over the past year, the project reflects an evolution in sound while maintaining the storytelling approach that has kept fans engaged.

The title track, Her Heartland, opens with a nod to Mize’s upbringing in rural Kansas, capturing the essence of small-town life that runs throughout the record. The album continues to explore personal stories and broader reflections, delivering what Mize has described as one of his most complete releases to date.
Saturday night shifts the spotlight to Bella White, a Canadian-American singer-songwriter who has quickly emerged as one of the most compelling voices in modern Americana and roots music. Known for blending traditional Appalachian influences with contemporary songwriting, White’s music carries a quiet intensity that has earned critical acclaim and a rapidly growing following.
Raised in Calgary, Alberta, White was introduced to bluegrass and old-time music at an early age through her father, a Virginia native who played in bluegrass bands. That early immersion shaped her approach to songwriting, which draws heavily on traditional structures while exploring themes of heartbreak, identity and personal growth.
Her debut album Just Like Leaving, released in 2020, introduced audiences to her distinct voice and stripped-down sound, earning praise for its emotional depth and authenticity. She followed with Among Other Things in 2023, further refining her style while expanding her presence across the Americana and folk circuits. White has since performed at major festivals including Newport Folk Festival and Stagecoach, and has shared stages with artists such as Band of Horses, Sierra Ferrell and The Milk Carton Kids.
White’s performances are known for their intimacy and emotional connection, creating a live experience that feels both personal and immersive. Whether performing solo or with a backing band, her ability to draw listeners into each song has become a defining characteristic of her shows.
Both performances take place at the Folsom Hotel Saloon, one of the region’s most iconic live music venues. Established in 1885, the historic Folsom Hotel sits in the heart of the Folsom Historic District and continues to serve as a hub for live entertainment, pairing Old West character with a vibrant modern music scene. Its intimate setting offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience nationally touring artists up close.
Doors open at 7 p.m. Friday, April 17, for Logan Mize’s performance, with Bella White taking the stage Saturday, April 18, at the Folsom Hotel Saloon, located at 703 Sutter St. Both shows are open to all ages. Tickets are available atwww.folsomhotelsaloon.com.
