Originally founded by Nikki Sixx before his rise to fame with Mötley Crüe, London quickly gained a reputation as something of a “training school” for future rock stars. Over the years the band’s ranks included musicians who would later become members of Guns N’ Roses — including Slash, Dizzy Reed and Matt Sorum — along with W.A.S.P. frontman Blackie Lawless, Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler and musician Alan Krigger.

London reached international audiences when frontman Nadir D’Priest joined the band, ushering in an era that included worldwide tours, MTV airplay and several recognizable singles including “Radio Star,” “Ride You Through the Night,” “No Tell Motel,” and “Fast as Light.”
