Theresa (Terri) Elizabeth Canterbury, 77, of Folsom, California, passed away at home of heart failure on July 6, 2026.
Terri was born at the Presidio, San Francisco, Ca.
Terri was outgoing, enjoying gatherings with family and friends. She was generous with her time, willing to help with whatever she could or just to sit and talk. Terri was diligent and dedicated in her ethics and work. She showed up every day and did her best no matter what. She was known to be empathetic and compassionate, whether it was to sponsor a family during the holidays, give a few bucks to someone in need or just to listen.
There was no one Terri loved more than her family. She is survived by her siblings Jeanne, Greg and Kara, daughters Julie and DeAnna, son-in-law Perry, and grandchildren Vincent, Rebecca, Kaitlin, and Nicholas.
She is preceded in death by her brother Stephen, parents Virginia and Edgar, and grandparents.
Terri’s career paths were eclectic as only she could be! She owned a restaurant, drove a school bus, sold realty, and retired from Blue Shield in the appeals and grievances department.
Terri’s favorite thing to do was to cook, especially if she loved you! If you know Terri at all, you know she was a die hard 49er fan. She watched every game during football season. She loved the peace of the beach and to shop! She found the best stuff on QVC. What she loved best was to spend time with her family and friends, whether in person or on the phone.
