ELDORADO HILLS- One person was hospitalized following a solo vehicle crash that caused major damage on Latrobe Road early Friday morning, according to the El Dorado Hills Fire Department.
Emergency crews, including El Dorado Hills’ Truck 85, Engine 87, Medic 85 and Battalion 85, were dispatched to the collision at approximately 4:30 a.m. Fire officials said the crash involved a single vehicle that sustained major damage.
One patient was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of the individual’s injuries has not been released.
The cause of the collision has not yet been released, and it was not immediately known whether alcohol, drugs, speed or other factors played a role. The incident remains under investigation.
Following the crash, the El Dorado Hills Fire Department reminded commuters to drive safely during the morning commute, urging motorists to slow down and remain alert behind the wheel.
