Nashville, Bakersfield sound opens the door to an upcoming weekend of live rock, tribute theatrics, Bay Area blues and more

Denim, boot leather and steel guitar spirit will fill the room this Thursday, Feb. 26 as Outlaws & Angels bring a blend of Nashville polish and Bakersfield edge to Country Thursdays to the Powerhouse Pub in Historic Folsom. Presented by Powerhouse Entertainment, the weekly series leans into the heart of traditional American country music — the kind built on harmony, heartbreak and dance-floor rhythm — while keeping the LED dance floor in steady motion.

From the first step of the free 7 p.m. line dance lesson to the opening chords of the 8 p.m. live set, Thursday night is structured around movement. Two-steppers, line dancers and first-timers alike will find themselves drawn into a sound rooted in storytelling and shaped by the smooth confidence of Nashville and the hard-twang drive of Bakersfield’s outlaw era.
