Unprovoked, Lysol Toast and Emerther join Saturday lineup, followed by Skip’s Weekend Warriors on Sunday
A weekend of high-energy live music is set to take over The Boardwalk as Saturday night’s metal showcase led by Parabellum is followed by a Sunday afternoon performance featuring Skip’s Weekend Warriors.
The Saturday and Sunday stacked lineup highlights the venue’s wide-ranging programming, bringing together both heavy, late-night intensity and a daytime performance built around community musicianship.
Saturday night, April 11, delivers a full slate of heavy music as Parabellum headlines alongside Unprovoked, Lysol Toast and Emerther in a lineup rooted in thrash, metalcore and modern metal influences.
Parabellum’s sound is grounded in classic thrash metal while incorporating a modern edge, blending aggressive riffs with themes of rebellion, resilience and resistance. Their performances are driven by intensity, channeling the raw energy that defined the genre’s early years while connecting with a new generation of listeners.
The band’s presence reflects a broader revival of thrash and traditional metal, offering a sound that resonates with longtime fans while continuing to draw in newer audiences seeking heavier, more unfiltered music experiences.
Joining the bill is Unprovoked, a band with deep roots in the Northern California metal scene dating back to 1990. Originally formed in Auburn, the group quickly became a force in the regional scene, performing alongside acts such as Vio-Lence, Machine Head and Bonded by Blood before disbanding in 1995.
After a long hiatus, Unprovoked reunited in 2015 and has since reestablished itself as a steady presence in the scene. Following the release of their debut albumOut of the Ashesin 2019, the band has continued performing and building on its legacy.
Also appearing is Lysol Toast, whose aggressive style adds to the night’s overall intensity, helping round out a lineup built around heavy sound and high energy.
Emerther completes the lineup as a newer Sacramento-based act formed in 2024. The band blends heavy grooves, blistering solos and a commanding stage presence, delivering a performance designed to engage the crowd and keep the energy elevated throughout the night.
Saturday’s show begins at 8 p.m. and is open to all ages with a parent or guardian required for those under 21.

Sunday, April 12 shifts the focus to a daytime performance as Skip’s Weekend Warriors take the stage at 2 p.m.
Presented by Skip’s Music, the event offers a different kind of live music experience, highlighting musicianship and participation while bringing together performers in a more relaxed, community-driven setting.
