Genre-spanning dance hits, acoustic loops and hard rock power headline two nights of live entertainment
Red Hawk Resort Casino is set for another packed weekend of free live entertainment as Power Play, Art Padilla and Sabrina Stratus bring everything from acoustic-driven performances and Top 40 dance hits to full-throttle hard rock to the Stage Bar and The Apex.
Friday night at the Stage Bar belongs to Power Play, one of the region’s most versatile and crowd-pleasing live bands. Performing from 8 p.m. until midnight, the group delivers a high-octane set designed to keep the dance floor moving from the opening song to the final encore.
Power Play has earned a reputation for its fearless genre-hopping style, effortlessly shifting between decades and musical styles in one seamless performance. A typical night might jump from Lady Gaga to Johnny Cash to Eminem before launching into classic rock staples or modern country favorites. That unpredictability has become one of the band’s trademarks, making every show feel different while still packed with recognizable crowd favorites.
Their wide-ranging catalog appeals to audiences looking for more than a single-style concert experience. Whether guests are singing along to country anthems, dancing to Top 40 hits or rocking out to classic favorites, Power Play’s ability to move fluidly between genres keeps the energy level high throughout the night.
Driven by versatile vocalists, guitar-heavy arrangements and a powerful rhythm section, the band transforms the Stage Bar into a nonstop dance party atmosphere that consistently draws packed crowds whenever they return to Red Hawk.
Live music begins even earlier Friday evening at The Apex at Red Hawk Resort Casino, where Sacramento guitarist Art Padilla takes the stage from 7 to 10 p.m. as part of the venue’s continuing “Apex Unplugged” entertainment series.

Padilla’s “Acoustic Loops” performance style blends a laid-back atmosphere with an impressive range of musical influences spanning pop, rock and country. A longtime fixture on the Sacramento music scene, Padilla has been mastering the guitar since the age of 11 and performing professionally since 1999.
Over the course of his career, he has developed a broad and highly versatile playing style that comfortably moves between pop-punk, metal, mainstream pop, classic rock and country music. His technical precision and genre flexibility have earned him recognition from both the Sacramento Area Music Awards and the WCS International Songwriting Competition, particularly for his original song “Baby You Are Something.”
Padilla’s career has also brought opportunities to perform at the NAMM Show alongside top musicians and industry professionals, while additionally participating in the Tech Awards honoring Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac.
His performances combine musicianship, looping techniques and crowd interaction into a relaxed but engaging live experience that fits perfectly inside The Apex’s all-ages entertainment environment.
Saturday night shifts the focus back to the Stage Bar as Sabrina Stratus brings a full-scale hard rock show to Red Hawk from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m.
A Northern California-based singer, songwriter and performer, Stratus fronts the high-energy Sabrina Stratus Band, delivering electric live performances built around a combination of original hard rock material and iconic rock covers spanning generations of arena rock and heavy metal.

Known for her commanding stage presence and powerhouse vocal style, Stratus performs songs from legendary artists including AC/DC, Van Halen and Ozzy Osbourne while also showcasing original music that reflects her own hard-driving rock influences.
Among her original releases are the hard rock singles “Hey You” and “Come Sing with Me,” both of which have helped establish her growing presence on the regional rock scene.
Her live lineup frequently features the rhythm section from California rock group Blackout Betty, along with collaborations involving guitarist Clint Warner of the Clint Warner Band, guitarist Eric, drummer Ed Koop and bassist Greg King. Together, the group delivers a hard-hitting live sound designed to recreate the energy and excitement of classic rock concerts while incorporating modern edge and intensity.
The result is a performance built for rock fans looking for loud guitars, soaring vocals and nonstop energy late into the night.
All Stage Bar performances at Red Hawk Resort Casino are free with no cover charge, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
