High-energy party favorites and blues-driven classics headline two nights of free music at the Stage Bar
Red Hawk Resort Casino keeps the summer entertainment rolling this weekend as Power Play returns to the Stage Bar on Friday night with its signature high-energy party show before Sacramento blues veteran Clint Warner takes over Saturday with an evening of guitar-driven favorites and timeless classics.
Friday night belongs to Power Play, one of the Sacramento region’s most popular live party bands, performing from 8 p.m. until midnight. Known for its fearless approach to live entertainment, the band has become a favorite throughout Northern California by delivering a nonstop musical journey that crosses genres, generations and decades.
Power Play has built its reputation on unpredictability. One moment audiences may be dancing to Lady Gaga, followed by Johnny Cash, Eminem, classic rock anthems or modern country favorites. Rather than limiting themselves to one style, the band seamlessly moves between rock, pop, funk, country and dance music, creating an energetic performance that offers something for virtually everyone in the room.
That wide-ranging catalog has become one of the group’s trademarks, making every performance feel fresh while remaining packed with familiar songs audiences know by heart. Whether guests are singing along to a country anthem, dancing to a Top 40 favorite or reliving classic rock hits, Power Play keeps the energy level high from beginning to end.
Driven by versatile vocalists, guitar-heavy arrangements and a powerful rhythm section, the band transforms the Stage Bar into a nonstop dance party every time it returns to Red Hawk. Their engaging stage presence and crowd interaction have helped establish them as one of the casino’s most popular returning acts.
Saturday night shifts the spotlight to one of Northern California’s most respected blues and rock performers as Clint Warner takes the Stage Bar from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m.
Based in Sacramento, Warner has spent decades building a reputation for blending blues, classic rock, country, jazz and funk into an energetic live show anchored by expressive guitar playing and powerful vocals.
Born in San Francisco in 1967, Warner picked up the guitar at just 8 years old. Exposure to a wide variety of musical styles early in life helped shape both his versatile playing style and commanding vocal delivery. After moving to California’s Central Valley as a teenager, he immersed himself in Northern California’s Top 40, country, blues, jazz and rock music scenes, steadily developing into one of the region’s most accomplished live performers.

During his twenties, Warner performed regularly with acclaimed bassist Bill Church, whose credits include Sammy Hagar, Ronnie Montrose and Van Morrison. Later, Warner relocated to Humboldt County, where he focused on songwriting and performing under his own name, earning a reputation as one of Northern California’s hardest-working touring musicians.
Over the years, his original music has evolved into a distinctive blend of acoustic and electric blues, jazz, funk and rock influences. His career has included opening performances for an impressive list of nationally recognized artists, including Gregg Allman, Joan Jett, Cheap Trick, Foghat, Foreigner, Tommy Castro, Lydia Pence and Cold Blood, and Joe Bonamassa.
Whether performing original music or breathing new life into classic favorites, Warner brings an authenticity and musicianship that continues to resonate with audiences throughout the region.
All Stage Bar performances at Red Hawk Resort Casino are free with no cover charge, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
