A full weekend of live entertainment awaits guests at Red Hawk Resort Casino as three bands take the spotlight across two venues, delivering everything from acoustic blues and Americana to dance-floor pop favorites and the high-energy sounds of alternative rock.
The weekend’s music begins Friday evening at The Apex at Red Hawk Resort Casino, where the venue’s growing “Unplugged” acoustic series continues with a performance by The Tin Dears from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The duo of Tony and Kat Ebster brings a blend of roots-driven musicianship and soulful vocals to the Apex stage, offering guests an intimate live music experience before the late-night action begins inside the casino.
Tony Ebster’s musical journey began more than three decades ago when he first picked up a guitar and learned by playing along with Metallica and Def Leppard cassette tapes. Over time he expanded his musical abilities to include bass and drums, performing with numerous bands across Northern California. Ebster has played with Sacramento-based country band Branded and has appeared at venues including Red Hawk Resort Casino, Goldfields, the California State Fair and several county fairs throughout the region.

Kat Ebster brings more than 20 years of vocal performance experience to the duo. Her powerful voice has drawn comparisons to a blend of Janis Joplin, Susan Tedeschi and Stevie Nicks, giving their performances a soulful, blues-tinged edge. She has performed with several Northern California bands including KatTrick and the Merry Mac Band and now performs alongside her husband, combining their musical backgrounds into a dynamic acoustic show that blends rock, blues and Americana influences.
Later Friday night, the music moves into the casino’s Stage Bar as Northern California favorite Power Play returns with one of the most versatile and crowd-pleasing shows in the region. The band performs from 8 p.m. until midnight, delivering a high-octane set designed to keep the dance floor full from start to finish.
Power Play has built a reputation for its ability to leap across genres and decades in one seamless performance. A typical set might jump from Lady Gaga to Johnny Cash to Eminem before shifting into classic rock or modern country favorites. Their diverse catalog and fearless genre-crossing style have made the group a go-to band for audiences who want a little bit of everything in one night of live music.

With versatile vocalists, guitar-driven energy and a powerful rhythm section, Power Play transforms the Stage Bar into a nonstop dance party. Whether guests are singing along to a country favorite, rocking out to a classic or dancing to a Top 40 hit, the band keeps the energy high and the crowd engaged from the first song to the last.
Saturday night, the Stage Bar shifts gears as Inverness 95 takes over with a high-powered tribute to the golden era of alternative rock. Performing from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m., the band brings a four-hour ride through the music that defined the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Inverness 95 has become a staple at Red Hawk Resort Casino, regularly drawing standing-room-only crowds who come out to relive the explosive sound of bands such as Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Green Day and Stone Temple Pilots. The group is known for its precision, passion and the ability to channel the raw emotion and adrenaline that made alternative rock such a defining force in modern music.

From explosive guitars to driving drumlines, Inverness 95 recreates the era with authenticity and intensity. Their shows are packed with crowd-pleasing throwbacks, unexpected deep cuts and sing-along staples that transform the Stage Bar into a full-scale rock revival.
All Stage Bar performances at Red Hawk Resort Casino are free with no cover charge, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
