Now just days away, organizers say tickets are still available for the third annual event, which has quickly grown into Folsom’s only reggae-focused music festival. The celebration runs from noon to 10 p.m., offering a full day of live performances, vendors and community connection under what is shaping up to be near-perfect spring weather, with sunshine and temperatures expected to climb into the mid-70s.

Presented by Friends of Folsom in partnership with Garden Groove, the festival continues to build momentum each year, drawing larger crowds while maintaining its grassroots mission of giving back. At its core, the event blends music and philanthropy, bringing together what organizers describe as “good vibes, good music and good people.”

Headlining this year’s festival is internationally recognized reggae artist Pato Banton, whose uplifting message and decades-long career have made him a standout figure in the genre. Known for hits like Baby Come Back and his engaging stage presence, Banton has toured worldwide, delivering music centered on positivity, unity and spiritual awareness.

Joining him is Sacramento-area favorite Arden Park Roots, one of Northern California’s most recognized reggae and rock fusion bands. Known for their high-energy live shows, the group blends reggae rhythms with rock, hip-hop and alternative influences, creating a sound that consistently draws strong regional crowds.

The all-day music lineup also features Lot 49, a Sacramento-based reggae band known for its smooth, roots-inspired sound, along with Garden Groove, a Sublime tribute act and one of the event’s presenting partners bringing the signature Southern California ska and reggae vibe to the stage.

Also performing are Eazy Dub, delivering upbeat reggae rhythms and positive energy, and Skinny Hendrix, whose reggae-rock fusion style continues to gain traction across Northern California. Rounding out the lineup are The Bennys, completing a schedule designed to keep music flowing continuously from start to finish.

Beyond the music, the Framily Festival offers a full outdoor experience throughout Rodeo Park. Attendees can expect a wide variety of food vendors and trucks, cold beverages including beer, and a curated mix of local vendors offering merchandise, crafts and community-based goods.

Activities and games for all ages will also be part of the day, creating a welcoming environment for families, friend groups and music fans alike. A VIP area will be available for those looking to elevate their experience with a more exclusive way to enjoy the event.

While the entertainment draws the crowd, the mission behind the festival remains front and center. Friends of Folsom is widely known for its year-round fundraising efforts that support local families, nonprofits and community programs, from addressing food insecurity to assisting children and those in need.

Proceeds from the Framily Festival directly benefit those efforts, with every ticket purchase and vendor interaction helping fuel the organization’s ongoing work in the community.

Festivalgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and sun protection to stay comfortable throughout the day. Sealed water bottles, small bags, strollers and low-profile shade options are permitted.
