Friday night kicks off April 24 with the TGIF Early Show featuring Legend at 6:30 p.m., bringing a rock-driven start to the weekend. Known for delivering a setlist packed with crowd-favorite hits, the band leans into classic and modern rock staples designed to get audiences moving early. With powerful vocals, guitar-forward energy and a focus on familiar anthems, Legend sets the tone for what builds into a full night of music inside the Historic Folsom venue.
The energy ramps up later Friday as Cover Me Badd takes over at 10 p.m., delivering one of the region’s most recognizable high-energy dance band experiences. A staple across Northern California’s wedding, event and nightclub scene, the group has built its reputation on polished performances that span decades of music, from timeless grooves to today’s radio hits. Known for keeping dance floors packed, Cover Me Badd blends tight musicianship with a strong stage presence, creating a late-night atmosphere built around sing-alongs, nonstop movement and a big, full-band sound that carries through the night.
Saturday, April 25 begins with the Saturday Afternoon Dance Party as Open Fire hits the stage at 3 p.m., bringing a hard-hitting lineup of rock anthems that span generations. Drawing from artists like AC/DC, Journey, Heart, Green Day and Stone Temple Pilots, the Sacramento and Auburn-based band delivers a performance rooted in powerful vocals, driving guitar riffs and a rhythm section built for impact. Their focus on well-known, high-energy songs creates an immediate connection with the crowd, making the afternoon set a natural lead-in to the night ahead.
Saturday night then shifts into a full-scale tribute experience as 2Bad – The Michael Jackson Tribute Show takes over at 10 p.m., bringing the music, movement and energy of one of the most iconic performers in history to the Powerhouse stage. Featuring a five-piece band and multiple vocalists, the show delivers a high-energy journey through four decades of Michael Jackson’s catalog, including hits like Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, Rock With You, Black or White and Heal the World, along with fan-favorite Jackson 5 classics.
