Northern California singer brings mix of ’90s country influences, modern edge and high-energy stage show to Folsom
Country music will take over the waterfront Saturday afternoon as Northern California singer-songwriter Serena Karise and her band perform at Crawdads on the Lake.
Karise takes the stage Saturday, Aug. 29, from 2 to 5 p.m., bringing a high-energy mix of country, rock and soul to the popular Lake Natoma venue at 9900 Greenback Lane.
Karise has steadily built a reputation across the regional country music circuit for her powerful vocals, engaging stage presence and energetic performances that blend classic country storytelling with a modern edge.
Drawing inspiration from the strong female voices that helped define 1990s country music, Karise channels influences from artists such as Jo Dee Messina and Reba McEntire while incorporating contemporary sounds reminiscent of performers like Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson.
