The Folsom Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an 81-year-old man with Alzheimer’s disease who was last seen Wednesday morning and is believed to have traveled through the Folsom area.
According to the Folsom Police Department, Sammy Cunningham left his son’s residence in Rocklin on the morning of Aug. 5 after telling family members he was returning to Florida to be with relatives.
Authorities said Cunningham was last seen at approximately 9 a.m. traveling westbound in the area of Grant Line Road and East Stockton Boulevard.
Cunningham is described as 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, bald, with blue eyes.
He is believed to be driving a white 2018 Ford F-150 equipped with a black bed cover and displaying Florida license plate IKVP89.
Police are asking anyone who sees Cunningham or his vehicle to immediately contact the Folsom Police Department at 916-461-6100, Option 1, or call 911 if the situation is an emergency.
As this is an active Silver Alert involving an at-risk missing adult, the public is encouraged to remain alert and report any possible sightings to law enforcement immediately.
