Under perfect spring weather Thursday evening, Historic Folsom hosted the 2026 Folsom Wine and Jazz event, bringing together attendees, local wineries and community supporters for a night at the Zittel Family Amphitheater.

Once again, the annual event, presented by the Folsom High School Music Boosters, transformed the Historic Folsom Plaza and the amphitheater into a gathering space centered around live music, wine tasting and fundraising in support of music education. Guests arrived throughout the evening as performances and tasting stations operated across the venue.

Performances by the Folsom High School Jazz Band and Jazz Choir took place throughout the evening, featuring student musicians from the school’s music program. The ensembles performed a range of jazz selections as part of the event’s programming.

Attendees sampled wines from local wineries and visited food vendors set up at the venue. Guests moved between tasting stations and seating areas while performances continued on stage.

A silent auction was held during the event, with proceeds contributing to fundraising efforts organized by the Music Boosters. Revenue from ticket sales, vendor participation and auction items supports the Folsom High School music program.

Folsom Wine and Jazz has been held for more than two decades and is organized annually by the Folsom High School Music Boosters, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The group provides volunteer and financial support for student music activities, including performances at school and community events, as well as competitions and travel opportunities.

Funds raised from the event are used to assist with program expenses, equipment needs and student participation in music-related activities. The music boosters have not yet determined a final total of funds raised as ticket sales, silent auction sales and donations are still being tallied from Thursday’s event.
