Nostalgic 1960s hits, blues jam grooves and late-night rock fill the casino’s stages
Red Hawk Resort Casino offers a full weekend of live entertainment as the sounds of the 1960s, blues-infused jam music and classic rock dance hits take center stage across multiple venues.
Friday night at the casino’s Stage Bar, the music of the 1960s comes alive as the60’s Summer of Love Banddelivers a nostalgic celebration of an era defined by its unforgettable soundtrack. For many fans, the music of the ’60s carries lasting memories—songs you could sing along to, dance to and fall in love to. The 60’s Summer of Love Band brings those memories back to life with a show designed to capture the spirit and sound of the decade.
The six-piece ensemble performs iconic hits from artists such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Aretha Franklin while honoring the full range of music that shaped the era. Motown grooves, British Invasion rock and soulful anthems all find their way into the band’s energetic performance. Adding to the experience, the group appears in period clothing, helping transport audiences back to the colorful sights and sounds of the 1960s.
The 60’s Summer of Love Band takes the Red Hawk Stage Bar stage Friday night beginning at 8 p.m. and keeps the dance floor moving until midnight.

Live music on Friday begins even earlier at The Apex at Red Hawk Resort Casino, where the venue’s acoustic “Unplugged” entertainment series continues with a performance by Matt Rainey from 7 to 10 p.m.
Rainey is a two-time winner of the Sacramento Area Music Awards for Blues Band of the Year and was a quarterfinalist in the 2018 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. Known for blending traditional blues with a psychedelic jam band style, Rainey combines soulful blues, rock, Americana and improvisational jam elements into his performances.

Throughout his career he has opened for notable jam band artists including Melvin Seals of the Jerry Garcia Band, John Kadlecik of Furthur, Mark Karan of RatDog, Keller Williams and the band moe. Whether performing with a full band or in a solo acoustic setting, Rainey is known for delivering an engaging show driven by expressive guitar work and a free-flowing improvisational style.
Saturday night shifts the energy back to the Stage Bar as Four Barrel takes over for a late-night show built on classic hits and dance-floor energy. The Woodland-based band performs from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m., delivering a lively set that spans rock favorites from the 1960s through today.
Known for their electrifying stage presence and crowd-driven performances, Four Barrel blends decades of music into one high-energy show designed to keep couples and groups of friends moving long after dinner ends.
Leading the band is founding member Phillip Lovejoy on lead guitar and vocals. Lovejoy began his musical journey in fifth grade playing trumpet before picking up the guitar at age 15. Inspired by legends such as Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, he developed a blues-infused rock style that gives Four Barrel its expressive edge.

On vocals,Teri Alisonbrings powerful energy and a commanding stage presence that has become a defining part of the band’s performances. Alison began singing at age eight when she performed “Rhinestone Cowboy” with a local band and later drew inspiration from artists like Pat Benatar while fronting several regional groups.
Bassist Dale Warner adds decades of experience in rock, blues and jazz. Originally from Woodland, Warner spent years in Santa Cruz and Los Angeles touring nationally and releasing his solo albumUncle Dale, Tell’n Stories. After returning to Woodland in 2017, he reconnected with Lovejoy and soon joined Four Barrel, bringing seasoned musicianship and groove to the group.
Ken Hockensmith rounds out the lineup on drums, delivering the driving beats that fuel the band’s energetic live performances. Together the quartet creates an interactive show packed with singalong moments, classic riffs and dance-ready favorites.
All Stage Bar performances at Red Hawk Resort Casino are free with no cover charge, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Along with live entertainment, Red Hawk Resort Casino is offering several promotions for Rewards Club members throughout the month. One of the biggest is the $1,000,000 17 Year Anniversary Giveaway, held every Saturday through March.
