A 34-year-old man has been arrested following reports of alleged lewd conduct at two Folsom businesses, and investigators are asking anyone who may have had contact with him to come forward.
According to the Folsom Police Department, patrol officers responded to Barnes & Noble at the Palladio on Aug. 1 after receiving reports of a man allegedly engaging in lewd conduct inside the bookstore. The individual left the area before officers arrived.
During the investigation, officers learned the same man was also allegedly involved in a similar incident earlier that day at Sun & Shade in Folsom, where the behavior was reported by an employee.
Detectives identified the suspect as 34-year-old Clifford Robinson.
Police said Robinson was arrested on Aug. 4 and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on suspicion of felony indecent exposure and additional misdemeanor charges. Bail was set at $350,000.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims who have not yet been identified.
According to police, Robinson was at the Palladio on Saturday, Aug. 1, from approximately 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Anyone who had contact with Robinson during that time and believes they may have been a victim is encouraged to contact Detective Howard by email at jhoward@folsom.ca.us.
Folsom Police released Robinson’s photograph as part of the investigation in an effort to identify additional potential victims. The investigation remains ongoing.
