David Clark brings high-energy Billy Joel tribute to Harris Center for FCA’s 2026-2027 season opener Sept. 13
The unmistakable music of Billy Joel will fill the Harris Center for the Arts in just days as the Folsom Concert Association gets ready to raise the curtain on its 2026-2027 season with a high-energy tribute to one of popular music’s most enduring artists.
“David Clark Presents All About Joel: A Tribute to Billy Joel” takes the stage Sunday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m., launching a five-concert season that will bring a variety of music and nationally touring performers to Folsom through April 2027.
The opening performance is a high-energy celebration of Billy Joel’s legendary catalog, taking audiences through iconic hits and beloved classics that have connected with generations of fans. The captivating, crowd-pleasing production has wowed audiences across the country and now brings the music and spirit of Billy Joel to the Harris Center stage in Folsom.
At the center of the show is singer and pianist David Clark, a Long Island, New York, native and lifelong Billy Joel fan who channels the sound and presence of the legendary Piano Man with remarkable accuracy in both his piano playing and lead vocals.
Clark has been performing since 1985 and has even shared the stage with former members of Billy Joel’s recording and touring bands. An accomplished singer and piano player, Clark brings the sound and presence of Billy Joel to life through stunning renditions, musicianship, stage presence, charisma, wit and humor.
For Billy Joel fans, the performance offers an opportunity to revisit music that has remained part of the American soundtrack for generations, this time performed live on the Harris Center stage.
The concert also marks the beginning of another season for the Folsom Concert Association, which has presented 145 concerts over the past 32 years. The nonprofit, volunteer-run organization partners with the Harris Center for the Arts to bring top-tier performances spanning a variety of musical genres to Folsom.
“For over 30 years, the Folsom Concert Association has brought exceptional live entertainment to our community at an affordable price,” said FCA President Ila Dubin. “This season brings an energetic lineup of music that celebrates iconic songs, powerhouse performers, and unforgettable live entertainment. Plus, every ticket helps support music programs serving local students and seniors.”
Individual tickets for Sunday’s “ALL ABOUT JOEL” performance range from $46 to $61, depending on seat selection, and organizers say tickets are going fast.
The approaching season opener also means time is running out for concertgoers looking to take advantage of FCA’s season subscription pricing.
Season subscriptions must be purchased by Sept. 12 and include all five shows for the price of four. Packages range from $180 to $255 depending on seat selection, bringing the cost of each performance to between $36 and $51.
The prices include the Harris Center’s $3 convenience fee and $4 facility fee per show. For subscriptions, there is also a $6 subscription fee per order. Parking passes are available.
Tickets and season subscriptions are available at FolsomConcertAssociation.org.

Series proceeds support community music programs
Together, the five performances give FCA audiences a season stretching across several generations and genres of popular music — from the songs of Billy Joel and early rock and roll to big-band swing, Southern musical history and the voices that helped shape soul and R&B.
FCA has been bringing those types of performances to the region since its founding in 1994. The nonprofit, volunteer-run organization relies on subscribers, patrons, sponsors, donors and grants to support both its annual concert season and its work beyond the Harris Center stage.
Proceeds support three cornerstone community programs, including bringing musicians to seniors in residential communities, providing college scholarships to high school students and refurbishing donated instruments for schools in need.
That community component means the five-show season serves a purpose beyond the performances themselves, with ticket and subscription purchases helping FCA continue its music programs for local students and seniors.
The 2026-2027 season begins with “David Clark Presents ALL ABOUT JOEL: A Tribute to Billy Joel” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at the Harris Center for the Arts in Folsom.
Individual tickets are on sale now, while the deadline to purchase a five-show season subscription is Sept. 12.
