Here’s how to watch broadcasts of Folsom, Vista, and Cordova high school ceremonies this week
From emotional walks onto the football field to the long-awaited flip of a tassel beneath the stadium lights, graduation season is about to take center stage across the Folsom Cordova Unified School District. And for family members unable to attend in person, every milestone moment of the Class of 2026 will once again be available to watch live through a continued partnership between FCUSD, Folsom Times and Folsom TV.
In partnership with the Folsom Cordova Unified School District, Folsom Times, Folsom TV, and the faculty and staff of each school, the locally owned and operated digital news outlet will provide live coverage of the ceremonies at Folsom High School, Vista del Lago High School, and Cordova High School. Each ceremony will be available to watch live as it happens and will also be archived afterward for later viewing and sharing with family and friends.
For several years, families have faced the challenge of limited seating at graduation ceremonies. Each student receives only a limited number of tickets, often making it difficult for extended family members and friends to attend in person. The livestream partnership between FCUSD, Folsom Times, and Folsom TV has helped bridge that gap, allowing more loved ones to take part in one of the most important milestones in a student’s life.
Beyond seating limitations, the broadcasts also allow elderly family members, individuals with health concerns, military families stationed away from home, and relatives living across the country—or even overseas—to watch graduates walk across the stage in real time. Using a professional multi-camera setup at each venue, the broadcasts are designed to deliver an immersive viewing experience for audiences watching from home or on mobile devices.
Viewers can access the livestreams on any smart device, tablet, or computer by visiting the dedicated YouTube livestream channels listed below. In addition to YouTube, direct links to each ceremony will also be featured on the homepage ofwww.folsomtimes.comand shared across Folsom Times social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. These are the only authorized platforms for the FCUSD-contracted livestreams.
All livestreams and archived broadcasts will remain available free of charge through the continued partnership between Folsom Times, Folsom TV, FCUSD, and the many local businesses that support community journalism and local broadcasting efforts throughout the year.
