ORANGEVALE — A full weekend of live music returns to Jan’s Lounge in Orangevale with two distinct performances set to take the stage, beginning Friday with a high-energy rock and dance-pop showcase from Velvet Overdrive, followed by a Beatles tribute experience Saturday night with Ticket to Ride.
Friday night’s lineup features Velvet Overdrive, a Sacramento-based band known for delivering what they describe as a “rock and dance pop extravaganza,” built on a setlist that spans from the 1970s through the 2000s. The band performs from 8 to 11 p.m. with no cover charge, continuing Jan’s Lounge’s tradition of offering free live music in a casual, community-focused setting.
