The unmistakable sound, style and swagger of Elvis Presley will return to the Harris Center for the Arts this Friday as internationally acclaimed tribute artist Greg Miller takes audiences on a musical journey through three defining chapters of the King’s legendary career.
Presented by West Coast Performing Arts Concerts, “Elvis Live!” arrives Friday evening with a one-man production that recreates Presley from his groundbreaking rock-and-roll beginnings of the 1950s through his iconic leather-clad comeback years and into the glittering Las Vegas concert era that cemented his place among the greatest entertainers in music history.
For generations of fans, Elvis Presley remains more than a music icon. His influence transformed popular music, television and live performance, leaving behind a catalog of timeless hits that continue to fill theaters and concert halls nearly 50 years after his passing. This weekend’s performance aims to capture not only the music but also the charisma, stage presence and larger-than-life personality that made Presley one of the most recognizable entertainers the world has ever known.
Direct from Las Vegas, Miller has built an international reputation as one of the world’s premier Elvis tribute artists, earning acclaim for his remarkable attention to detail and authentic recreations of Presley’s vocals, mannerisms and stage movements.
Rather than focusing on a single period of Elvis’ career, the production highlights three distinct eras, allowing audiences to experience the evolution of the legendary performer in one evening.
Fans can expect to hear many of the songs that defined each chapter of Presley’s career, from the energetic rockabilly sound that launched him to stardom during the 1950s, to the powerful performances of his celebrated 1968 television comeback special, and finally the spectacular Las Vegas residency years and internationally televised Aloha from Hawaii concert that introduced Elvis to audiences around the globe.

According to his biography, Miller was personally acquainted with Presley after first meeting him as a young boy. That relationship continued until Elvis’ death in August 1977, leaving Miller with firsthand memories, recorded conversations and personally autographed gifts from Presley dating to 1976 and 1977.
Those experiences have shaped Miller’s lifelong commitment to preserving Presley’s music and performance style with authenticity.
Over the course of his career, Miller has become one of the entertainment industry’s most accomplished Elvis performers, appearing before audiences across multiple continents while starring in some of the world’s best-known tribute productions.
His career includes 16 years touring internationally and performing in the Las Vegas production of “Legends In Concert,” one of the most successful tribute shows in entertainment history. He also spent 17 years starring in Germany’s acclaimed “Stars in Concert,” helping introduce his Elvis performances to audiences throughout Europe.
Beyond the theater stage, Miller has portrayed Elvis in several Hollywood feature films, including Honeymoon in Vegas, Leaving Las Vegas and 3000 Miles to Graceland. He also appeared alongside Goo Goo Dolls frontman John Rzeznik in the band’s music video for “Sympathy.”
