The locally owned studio will mark its opening with Free Flow Week from Aug. 17-23, offering community members three free classes from its variety of yoga and fitness-inspired formats.

“We’ve been building toward this moment for months, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than opening our doors and inviting the entire community in,” said Michelle Watts, owner of YogaSix Folsom and YogaSix El Dorado Hills. “We’ve created a space where people can move, connect, recharge and truly feel part of something.”

YogaSix Folsom is a locally owned and operated boutique yoga studio offering an inclusive, modern approach to yoga and fitness for participants of all experience levels.

As previously reported by Folsom Times, plans for the Folsom studio were first announced in February, when Palladio confirmed YogaSix would become the latest addition to the center’s mix of retail, dining, entertainment and lifestyle businesses.

The Folsom studio marks YogaSix’s fifth location in the Sacramento region, joining existing studios in El Dorado Hills, Roseville, Elk Grove and Sacramento’s Land Park neighborhood. At the time the Folsom location was announced, YogaSix had grown to more than 200 studios nationwide.

Watts brings an established local connection to the new Folsom operation through YogaSix El Dorado Hills, which she also owns. The El Dorado Hills studio was named Best Yoga Studio in Style Magazine’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards.

Each YogaSix studio is locally owned and operated and emphasizes a boutique experience with a community focus. The brand offers six signature class formats and three specialty offerings, ranging from hot and more physically demanding flows to slower, restorative sessions. Beginner-friendly classes and strength-based sculpt formats are also available for participants with a range of experience levels.

When the Folsom location was first announced, Palladio General Manager Gloria Wright said YogaSix would complement the center’s expanding collection of businesses and services.

“We could not be more pleased to welcome YogaSix to Palladio,” Wright said at the time. “Their innovative approach to fitness and wellness aligns perfectly with Palladio’s dynamic mix of shopping, dining and lifestyle experiences, making YogaSix an exceptional addition for our guests.”

The February announcement was followed by an early introduction to the Folsom community in June, when YogaSix Folsom hosted an International Yoga Day and Summer Solstice celebration at the Palladio Piazza.

The free outdoor gathering featured gentle yoga movements and sun salutations along with breathwork, sound bowls, live singing and music. It also gave residents an opportunity to meet members of the YogaSix Folsom teaching team, learn about the studio’s class offerings and get an early look at what was planned for the new location before its doors officially opened.

The June gathering also included a Good Day Sacramento presence, providing an early television introduction for the new Folsom studio. Now, two months later, Good Day Sacramento will return as YogaSix moves from its community preview into regular operations with the Aug. 23 live Sculpt & Flow Master Class.

With the Aug. 17 opening, the project completes the transition from its February announcement and June community introduction to a fully operating Folsom studio, with Free Flow Week providing residents an opportunity to experience its different class formats during the first seven days.

YogaSix Folsom is located at Palladio, 230 Palladio Parkway, Suite 1221, Folsom, CA 95630. The studio can be reached at 916-461-1133 or folsom@yogasix.com. Advance reservations are encouraged as classes are expected to fill.
