The Folsom Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. (NCL), the nation’s premier mother-daughter volunteer organization,  has announced its Annual Membership Drive and has begun accepting applications from women with daughters currently in 6th through 8th grades. The Folsom Chapter is comprised of approximately 175 members who reside or attend school in the Folsom area in 7th through 12th grades.

Folsom Chapter mother-daughter teams volunteered over 3,800 philanthropy hours in the 2022-2023 year for 14 philanthropic organizations in the community, including the City of Folsom, Fat Kitty City, Mercy Housing, Powerhouse Ministries, Snowline Hospice, and Twin Lakes Food Bank.

The chapter also participates in the National Charity League’s National Philanthropy Initiatives supporting the American Heart Association, the Alzheimer’s Association, and Operation Gratitude.

Membership Drive Details:

  • Timeline: Applications for membership are only accepted during the Annual Membership Drive from January 15 – March 1 each year.
  • Eligibility: A prospective member shall reside or attend school within the Folsom or surrounding areas and have a daughter currently in 6th through 8th grades.
  • Prospective Member Meeting: Interested mothers are encouraged to attend one of the new member information socials which will be held:
    • January 18th 7pm
    • February 4th 2pm
    • February 25 3pm
