Did you forget to register your National Night Out event by yesterday’s deadline?  Don’t fret, city officials have extended the deadline to register and extra day, to July 18, to help you out.  

National Night Out will be celebrated not only throughout Folsom,  but around the nation on Tuesday, August 1. It may look like potlucks and ice cream socials, but National Night Out events bring neighbors and first responders together to help build a safer community.

Each year, Folsom police officers, firefighters, city officials, and hundreds of residents attend dozens of National Night Out events throughout the city, The agencies will make their rounds between 6 and 8 pm on Aug. 1.

Neighborhoods hosting celebrations are encouraged to register their National Night Out event by July 18 at www.folsom.ca.us/police

Those that have registered for the event so far, according to the Folsom Police Department are as follows and welcome those from outside of their neighborhood to join in their gatherings as well for a festive evening:
