Since it became vacant last year, many have pondered what may become of the former Walgreens pharmacy on the corner of Riley Street and Glenn Drive in Folsom. Now, its future is known, as Altitude Trampoline Park has announced its plans to occupy the 14,500-square-foot retail space.

The Folsom location will become one of nine new locations that the Dallas, Texas-based entertainment franchise opens in 2024. The company’s humble beginnings came about in 2014; today, they boast 86 different properties across the United States as well as locations in Spain and Mexico, according to an Altitude Trampoline press release announcing the company’s rapid expansion.

“Kicking off 2024 with nine franchise agreements, three park openings, and nine more in development sets Altitude on a robust growth trajectory for the year. Our expansion is gaining significant momentum as we extend our reach across the nation,” said Mike Stout, Vice President of Franchise Development at Altitude Trampoline Park. “We’re excited to witness several of our current franchisees expanding their footprint with Altitude and committing to multi-unit agreements for further growth. Our franchise owners demonstrate profound enthusiasm for the brand and our mission to become a go-to destination for family-friendly fun.”

The Folsom franchise location will be operated by local franchisee Guru Murari, according to Robert Morris, Vice President of Development for Altitude Trampoline Park. The Folsom location is one of six new additions to its 2024 growth and one of three new California locations opening ahead, including sites in San Jose and Los Angeles.

Altitude Trampoline Park is bannered as a premier family-friendly entertainment destination offering cutting-edge attractions and Party Packages to accommodate all of life’s most meaningful celebrations. The locations are geared toward families with children between 3 and 12 years old, with attractions including trampolines, playgrounds, foam pits, obstacle courses, arcades, and sports activities including basketball, dodgeball, and more.

According to their announcement, Altitude’s $10 Endless Jumps Membership program allows children unlimited access to the brand’s attractions for a fixed price, offering a way for families to stay together and play together all year long.

According to Morris, many of the final details on what the Folsom location will offer are being finalized, but the location aims to be opened by summer of this year. Altitude Trampoline Parks are owned by Active Brands, a platform company that focuses on indoor entertainment concepts. More information can be found at altitudetrampolinepark.com.
