On Friday, leaders from the City of Folsom, the Folsom Chamber of Commerce and the Sacramento Economic Council officially welcomed Qualcomm to the city with a with an opening ceremony and ribbon cutting at its newest office location on Iron Point Road.

Qualcomm is a global semiconductor design company with headquarters in San Diego. The company creates semiconductors, software and services related to wireless technology. Additionally, Folsom is home to the Intel Corporation, Micron and PowerSchool, to name a few.
